Modernizing password and secrets management to strengthen zero-trust posture

Password and secrets management play increasingly important roles at federal and state agencies as they strengthen their organization’s risk posture and defend against sophisticated cyberattacks, says Darren Guccione, Keeper Security’s CEO and Co-Founder, in a recent interview.

“More than 80% of the time when there’s a data breach, it’s a result of weak passwords or stolen passwords, credentials and secrets. The main attacks that Keeper Security Government Cloud defends against are those against employee credentials and passwords; those against DevOps’ access to infrastructure; and then those attacks against access platforms to outbound systems.
