President Donald Trump said he doesn’t support House Democrats’ package of measures to respond to the coronavirus in its current form, even as his Treasury secretary is negotiating changes with Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
As the U.S. continues to grapple with the global health crisis and its economic fallout, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said the Senate will stay in session next week, rather than leaving Washington as was previously planned.
