Now, as part of the Wind River Development Fund team, she has a clear mission: to weave the fabric of sustainable economic development through the lens of ecotourism over her two-and-a-half-year tenure.

Role in Economic Recovery Corps

Her role in the Economic Recovery Corps program is much more than a position; it’s a commitment to the betterment of the reservation’s community life. Embracing the opportunity, Calloway-Nation aims to harness the natural beauty and cultural heritage of Wind River, creating experiences that attract conscientious travelers. Her project will not only increase visitation but also ensure that the economic benefits are felt deeply within the local populace.

This initiative underscores a pivotal moment for the Wind River Development Fund, aligning with Calloway-Nation’s ethos of fostering economic self-reliance and transformative community development. It also reflects the Middlebury Institute of International Studies’ success in cultivating leaders who leave indelible marks on the global stage.
