Georgia’s election systems weren’t hacked, Department of Homeland Security’s IG says

The Department of Homeland Security’s inspector general has concluded that the department did not breach Georgia’s voting system, according to a letter issued to Congress on Monday.

Greg Otto of CyberScoop has more on a letter by Inspector General John Roth that says his office’s Digital Forensics and Analysis Unit determined that in a widely publicized incident from Nov. 15, 2016, a federal contractor did not breach the state government’s firewall.
