NJ cybersecurity center wants to integrate incident management into its operations

New Jersey’s nearly year-old Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Cell, which monitors government and business computer networks for cyberthreats, is looking to expand into incident management, according to the organization’s chief information security officer.

Falling under the state’s Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness, the cybersecurity group’s role is to find and mitigate cyber-security problems and to share what it learns, Government Technology reported. Several state agencies are involved, including the Office of Information Technology, the State Police and the Attorney General’s office, NJ.com reported.
