This year is shaping up to be quite an interesting one for the networking world as 2015 was a year of transformation. It’s going to be interesting to see what big moves heavy hitters like Juniper Networks and Cisco make, along with how the industry handles the increasing adoption of white-box switches, the rise of the Internet of Things and Wave 2 of 802.11ac solutions.
Channel partners should expect to see more recurring revenue streams as “X”-as-a-Service becomes a larger part of vendors’ strategies and should keep a keen eye on the red-hot hyper-converged infrastructure space.
